Introduction - Neha Dubey

Hi delegates!! I'm Neha, one of your vice-chairs for Berkeley Venture Capital. I'm currently a freshman intending to study Business Administration with a minor in Public Policy. I did MUN and debated public forum for all 4 years of high school. I'm from Fremont, CA, and am super excited to chair and help run a conference that I attended several times as a delegate. One of the things I'm most excited for is to hear all of the innovative solutions and companies that you come up with. In my free time I like to watch basketball (go warriors!), drink excessive amounts of coffee, and spend time with my friends. I can't wait to meet everyone and see what you all bring to the table in March. Feel free to email me (ndubey@bmun.org) or any of the chairs if you have any questions. - Neha Dubey

Introduction - Jacky Tian

My name is Jacky Tian, and I will be your head chair for Berkeley Venture Capital. I am thrilled to be able to carry forward this committee, and I hope you are just as excited as me. Many of you have already emailed me with questions, and I will try to answer some frequently asked ones here. 1. When is the topic synopsis going to be released? Check back on the conference website early January, and the synopsis will provide all the information you will need to prepare for the topic. 2. What will position papers be based on? Check back on this blog early January. 3. Who will I be representing? You will be representing yourself and your ideas. Don't worry about the # assignment you are given (eg. Person 56), these are simply placeholders for logistical reasons. Feel free to email me if you have any more questions at jtian@bmun.org.

Introduction

My name is Hyunwook Kim, and I am a third year student at Berkeley studying Business Administration. For BMUN 66, in addition to working as the club’s Special Events officer, I will be on the dais for Berkeley Venture Capital (BVC). I am excited to explore how businesses can address pressing global issues and am eagerly awaiting the innovative pitches the BVC delegates will come up with. Outside of BMUN, I enjoy traveling and spending time with friends.
